Job Summary: As a Senior Camera Image Tuning Engineer, you will be responsible for tuning the camera picture quality for various scenes. This will require good knowledge of the image sensor, video pipe, codecs and processing blocks and good understanding of picture quality and picture artefacts.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• B-Tech/BE/M-Tech/ME / PhD in Electronics and Communication
• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in cameras
• Strong C/C++ programming is must
• Knowledge on camera fundamentals, image processing, optics, color science
• Prior Experience in Camera Image Tuning including various video pipes blocks such as AE, AWB, CCM, Black Level Calibration, HDR, LDC, Gamma Correction, Day and Night mode tuning with / without IR illumination
• Experience in image quality analysis and troubleshooting
• Familiar with image sensor technologies, digital cameras, optics, camera ISP pipeline algorithms and deep understanding of IQ metrics/evaluation methods and their trade-offsw.r.t. different ISP blocks
• Expertise in Image tuning tools such as XRite, Macbeth Resolution and Color

• Understand various nuances and fine variation in color tone, saturation, luminance,
• Expertise in usage of Judge Light Box for camera Image Tuning, Imatest
• Expertise in testing Image quality under different scenarios and lighting conditions
• Enhance and maintain the ISP lab
• Experience in Embedded Multimedia streaming application development (Linux platform preferred)
• Knowledge in one or more of the following: Camera driver development, Audio-Video codecs specifically H264/H265, Network protocols is a bonus
• Excellent analytical, debugging and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment utilizing collaboration skills
• Passion for Photography is a bonus
