Multimedia Application Engineer

Experience : 3 – 8 years

Qualification : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent

Role summary : We are looking for a passionate, innovative, technically sound candidate with excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills to lead & manage our software development

Knowledge and Skills:

• Technically lead the Embedded Multimedia Software application development, help resolve technical complex issues, etc.
• Multimedia streaming application development (Linux platform preferred)
• Experience in one or more of the following: Audio-Video codecs specifically H264/H265,  AV1 (AOmedia),VP9,Network protocols, device driver development, TCP/IP,RTSP, HTTP and IPC.
• Experienced in overall architecture of product software including firmware, Linux /free RTOS, embedded application development and interaction with hardware designs.
• Excellent Programming Skills – C, C++, Python
• Proficiency in Gstreamer, Direct X, OpenGL or FFmpeg multimedia frameworks.
• Knowledge of audio codecs (G711, G722 etc.)
• Extensive knowledge on ARM and general purpose microcontrollers.
• Linux Kernel programming, device driver experience. Knowledge in one or more of the following: SPI, I2C, SDIO, NAND Flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, Firmware is essential.
• Understanding of Camera pipelines, ISP, image processing, video processing, and audio processing algorithms.
• Experience in board bring up activities and able to understand schematics, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment utilizing collaboration skills.
• Strong technical leadership skills take ownership and work independently as well as in a team. Able to come up with innovative solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals.
• Good Debugging skills and hands on with coding and tool usage.
• Technically lead in High Level Design choices, software implementation, debugging, testing, etc.
